Why do my friends always call me a "hipster/ hippie" ?

so my friends always call me a hipster and although i really don't care i'm kind of curious as to why ? lol well i listen to a lot of pink floyd led zeppelin the beatles deep purple and well i think you get the idea but i don't just listen to this music i can also listen to little wayne katy perry nirvana house music and pretty much anything lol i like waring band shirts but i DON'T go to thrift shops or whatever there called i also shop at hollister and abercombie im a pretty laid back person i don't start **** with anyone and very rarely have i met someone i don't like and vise versa im pretty much just their and make people laugh lmaoo. i don't really care about alot of things like alot of things don't affect me like people talking **** i do want to be successful i want to be a marriage and family therapist im also a a b student, and no i do not trust the government lol
