Why should we write our signatures in cursive?

Cursive is distinctive. I can imitate the block printing most bank and government computers produce, but imitating a signature in cursive is much harder. Protect your interests by developing your own style which will make it a little harder for someone else to cash your paycheck should you or your boss lose it.
