feeding is supposed to be the best for babies, right?

I formula feed my daughter due to work reason's but she was fed for 8 months. I only get defensive when I am criticize not feeding my daughter anymore especially for those people that don't know me. They don't know why i stop feeding. They don't know my day to day life. As long as I am feeding my child and she is healthy, I am okay.
