Can you name the biggest banks that failed during this recession?

Lehman and Bear Sterns were not commercial banks but investment banks so they might not count. And then there was Merrill Lynch, a sort of a forced take over as was Bear Sterns. UBS has not yet failed. Citigroup would have failed by now if it were not for the government handing it money by the train load. It at one time was the biggest bank. Not any more. BAC is on life support to thanks to its idiotic management. It would have been in much better shape today if it had not reached out its grasping hand toward Countrywide and Merrill. Nothing like putting an Asp to your .
