Cheaper to run the laptop on wall power or battery?

Sorry...didn't read the whole thing, but it's BETTER to run it off of battery and leave the charger out of the wall unless charging. You can actually fry your battery if you run it off of charger 100% (and the difference in energy cost will be quickly waylaid if you have to buy a new laptop battery)
